Imagineer Remodeling was hired to remodel this small closed in and dated home to an open space with traditional flair yet warm and comfortable to be in. This remodeling project involved moving an interior partition wall, opening a narrow doorway to a wide open space adjoining the Dining Room, relocating windows and reconstructing the ceiling to achieve the structural retrofitting required for an open kitchen plan.
Stylish materials and appliances define this kitchen as a delight for cooks and guests alike in the open floor plan. The magnificent island, illuminated by stunning modern light fixtures, boasts a countertop of quartz with a luxurious suede finish that replicates marble.
As you can see below the original kitchen layout did not include a small adjacent laundry area. One of the most exciting parts of this project was integrating an entirely new space into the home’s design. The space was very narrow and a major traffic area entering the kitchen from the outside. The challenge was to design a solution that allowed concealment of the washer and dryer units yet when in operation the units exposed but not impeding the traffic.
In addition, we also created a brand new master bedroom, replaced hardwood floors, removed and upgraded the exterior paneling, integrated custom closets and redesigned the showstopping fireplace in the living room.
